Low threshold for balcony doors
A low threshold connects the interior with a terrace, winter garden or veranda. It allows you to enjoy comfort and convenience. For less able-bodied people, it gives the possibility of full independence in moving around the building. The low threshold is made of plastic and aluminum. This solution allows for additional sealing of the space between the house and the terrace, which translates into energy savings. A special design strengthens thermal insulation and constitutes a barrier against the formation of thermal bridges.
The low threshold is only 20 mm high. Its construction ensures good insulation inside the house and resistance to mechanical damage. From the outside - i.e. the terrace or balcony - the threshold has a profiled slope enabling a smooth connection with the floor. The outer part of the threshold is inclined, so the rainwater is drained outside, and a drip is installed on the sash, which further improves the insulation of the door.
