In response to legal requirements in some countries and growing expectations for comfort, aesthetics, and accessibility, we have introduced a "zero" threshold for the Schüco LivIngSlide system – a perfect solution for modern interiors and barrier-free construction.
What makes the "zero" threshold unique?
- Barrier-free transition – the threshold is flush with the floor, eliminating any obstacles and ensuring safe and comfortable use, also for children, seniors, and people with limited mobility.
- Compliance with DIN 18040 – meets requirements for barrier-free construction.
- High tightness – innovative construction ensures excellent protection against water and cold without compromising thermal insulation.
- Aesthetic and functional – a seamless transition between interior and terrace enhances elegant design and opens the space to the surroundings.
Important technical information:
- Order dimensions are measured to the bottom edge of the "zero" threshold.
- The "zero" threshold is not available in the Panorama FIX version.
- There is no requirement for the construction to be under a roof, but a drainage system must be in place for water from the HS unit and terrace.
- A special mosquito screen adapted to this solution is now available, providing effective insect protection without compromising aesthetics and functionality.
